About the Name

"Gusto" translates to "taste" in other languages and just like that translation, this glass is great for drinkers that want to control their pours and be more technical as it will focus the taste and aroma together in each sip. However, gusto also means enthusiastic or enjoyment, and this glass is also great for those that drink too enthusiastically at times, as it will guide you into smaller intakes and more thorough examination of your wines. This leads to greater enjoyment and connection to what is in your glass and allows you to fully express your excitement about wine!

How to Use

Decanting younger wines prior to serving will greatly improve the experience when drinking from our glasses, especially if you don't plan on following the wine in the glass for an extended period of time.

The glass is designed to be used with your bottom lip just touching the outside of the rim while your nose is just inside the opening. This tighter fit around the nose is by design and one our most unique features so that the aroma of the beverage can be focused along with a well controlled sip. The Gusto glass design will prevent most sediment from being consumed and trap it at the bottom of the glass.

Easy Care

Dishwasher is recommended, glasses are both residential and commercial dishwasher safe. Crystal or delicate cycle if available, otherwise a lower temperature program with gentle or no detergent and making sure the glasses won't touch or fall over.

Always use fragrance free and gentle detergents. Never use detergents with silica.

My go-to glassware for older wines

I bought this as a tasting glass to get more technical with my wines and better at analyzing aroma and nuance. I wasn't expecting to find my new favorite glass for vintage wines. I have used this now for many older wines and I’ve come to the conclusion there is nothing better and nothing near as good as this glass when it comes to older wines. It seems to prevent over oxidation while still focusing the tertiary aromas. It also really does trap the sediment in the bowl! Bravo, incredible glass.
